Towne (surgery, Medical College of Wisconsin) and Hollier (surgery, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine) have added a new section on the emergence of endovascular treatments and their increasing use in peripheral vascular surgery, reflecting changes in the field since the first edition.
